There are a little over 200 chalkstreams in the world and 85% of them are in the UK, from the immaculately kept riverbanks of the River Test to the untapped chalk streams of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. With names like the River Test, Itchen, and Avon immortalized in famous literature by fly fishing frontiersmen; Izaak Walton, F.M Halford, GEM Skues, and Harry Plunket-Greene, the chalkstreams are the birthplace of fly fishing itself and a mecca for every devoted fly fisher.
From our studio in Hurstbourne Tarrant in Hampshire, a stone’s throw from the Bourne Rivulet and the headwaters of the River Test, we carry out our mission statement; to protect and preserve these precious chalkstreams and make world class fly fishing available to everyone.
